The conference theme is “MINI REACTORS – MIGHTY NEUTRONS” and it focuses on the emergence of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) as a technological innovation in the production of nuclear energy. The panel on “Politics-Policy” is to focus on the political and policy (national & international) implications of this innovation as part of a “nuclear renaissance.” Ambassador Thomas Graham Jr. will give a speech on Small Modular Reactors and Nuclear Nonproliferation 

Ambassador Graham will give a speech on "Iran and the United Nations" at Stanford University which will be followed by a seminar on "the NPT and Iran" on Thursday January 27th through Saturday January 29th

Ambassador Thomas Graham will be giving speeches on both days; the first day on "Nuclear Non Proliferation" and the second day on "the NPT Regime and Iran and North Korea"

The EastWest Institute and Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the United Nations invites Ambassador Graham speak at a high-level consultation on Promoting International Security and Stability through Disarmament. The consultation will bring together leading experts, policymakers, diplomats from the UN missions, and UN officials to discuss how best to implement action point five of the 2010 NPT Review Conference Final Document. Panelists and participants will identify opportunities for cooperative action to promote "international stability, peace, and undiminished and increased security" and facilitate further progress towards disarmament.

A review of the protections for the free exercise of religious belief in the founding documents of this country set against the dispute over the establishment of an Islamic Center in lower Manhattan. Examples of religious discrimination and tolerance in the past will be drawn upon as well. The conclusion is that religious tolerance based on the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence is a central tenet of American values and culture.

Hearing entitled "Nuclear Cooperation and Non-Proliferation after Khan and Iran: Are we Asking Enough of Current and Future Agreements?"

On September 16th, Seth Grae, President and CEO of Lightbridge Corporation, appeared on WWL Radio of New Orleans to discuss nuclear energy and the use of thorium as a viable energy source. Seth was interviewed by Garland Robinette, host of the Think Tank show.

Ambassador Thomas Graham will speak to and discuss with the Egyptian Council on Foreign Affairs "The Future of the Nonproliferation Regime in the Middle East and Beyond." The speech to the council will be followed by a luncheon discussion with the Chairman, Ambassador Mohamed Shaker. In the evening, there will be a dinner discussion with Ambassador Nabil Fahmy (Dean, School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, American University in Cairo).

Seth Grae, CEO, Lightbridge will speak at the Deutsche Bank Securities 2010 Alternative Energy, Utilities and Power Conference on May 11. Mr. Grae will be speaking about the company’s role in clean energy and why nuclear is a viable energy alternative.
